History of Coach
Coach is a well known brand that began as a family business in 1941. Initial operations were conducted out of a loft in Manhattan, New York. The company was started by an American designer named Bonnie Cashin. In 1962, she began working with Miles and Lillian Cahn who were the owners of a wholesale handbag business. When this relationship was created, Cashin began creating phenomenal products with modern styles. Designs were very unique and hip with colors such as candy pink, orange, blue and even yellow. Following, a very distinct pattern was created and Coach Products were lined with a pattern by Dorothy Liebes. Today, Coach has evolved in a major company that produces high quality handbags, luggage, wallets, briefcases, shoes and other accessories such as scarves, key chains, umbrellas, etc. This product has become a women’s true dream and a vast amount of these products are purchased daily.
